I am finally posting what I have been waiting to post. We have been given the thumbs up for re-opening. We will re-open the gym on Thursday 6/18 @ 7am-12pm & 4-6pm Sat 8-12pm, closed Sunday. Check back soon as I will be posting more open hours. We are following all the CDC guidelines to protect our most important people our members. Masks are not required, but certainly can be worn. I feel everyone should carry a mask. They must be used when social distancing isn't possible. We will strongly enforce social distancing in our facility. We have made changes in the gym for the 6ft. rule with our equipment. In Spinning we maintain the 14 ft. distancing.
We will offer limited Group Exercise classes for now to see how things go. We will offer additional classes if needed. You can sign up two days prior to the class you wanrt take. To maintain social distancing we will only be able to have 8 people per class, call the gym, email or sign up through the website.
We have moved our Spinning location to our Group Exercise area allowing the 14 ft. distancing as suggested by our COVID 19 guidelines. We can now offer full seating at 10.

We will not be able to open up on June 1, as we thought. Governor Mills estimates June 11, but the way we have been going, I don’t think that can be guaranteed either. Since I am able to hold classes outside (weather permitting of course) This will be the schedule for now;
Monday 9:00 am- 10:00 am with Joan “Mixed Bag”
10:15-11:15 am Silver Sneakers Circuit.
Wednesday- 9:00-10:00 am with Joan “Cardio Intervals”
10:15-11:15 am with Joan Silver Sneakers Classic
Thursday- 9:00 - 10:15 am Yoga with Joan
Friday – 9:00-10:00 am with Joan “3-2-1”
10:15-11:15 am with Joan Silver Sneakers Circuit
MIXED BAG If you’re looking for a core workout, look no more, using various fitness tools such as weights, Bender Ball®, resistance bands & your own body weight you will find the ultimate combination of exercise to increase strength in a total body workout. It will also include balance work & basic Yoga asanas.
INTERVAL TRAINING- Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular & muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-Body Strength work with handheld weights, elastic tubing w/handles and a small ball is alternated with low-impact aerobic choreography.
Silver Sneakers Classic®- Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement & activities for daily living. Handheld weights, elastic tubing w/handles and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated and standing support.
3-2-1 A little bit of everything! A great beginner class. Here you will do 30 minutes of easy to follow low-impact cardio combinations, 20 minutes of weights followed by 10 minutes of stretching. A great class you are sure to love!!

WHAT IS REQUIRED BY EACH PERSON ATTENDING CLASSES AND USING GYM EQUIPMENT
· A COVID-19 questionairre will be required by everyone attending the gym.
· Social Distancing of 6 ft. required or mask must be worn
· Bring your own mat
· You will be allowed to use the restrooms if needed
· Sanitizer for hands and equipment will be provided.
At busy times you will be asked to limit your workout time to one hour.
**If you are interested in personal training, please give me a call and we can arrange a time to meet to discuss your needs and the goals you wish to accomplish. We can arrange session times during slower business times.
I will provide the best safety and care for all members. I expect that from each of you as well. Thank you!

I CONTINUE TO WORK OUT AT SEACOAST FITNESS DURING THE PANDEMIC. THE FACILITY IS KEPT CLEAN THE MACHINES ART PLACED A SAFE DISTANCE APART. HAND SANITIZER IS PROVIDED AT THE ENTRANCE AND AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS THROUGOUT THE GYM. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE MS (MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS) I FEEL SAFE AT SEACOAST FITNSS BECAUSE OF THE PRECAUTIONS TAKEN. THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE COMING TO THE GYM IS LIMITED SO THAT S SIX FEET DISTANCE IS MAINTAINED.
